Classic Granola


• Oat Flakes – 400 g;
• Honey – 50 ml;
• Butter – 50 g;
• Walnuts – 80 g;
• Raisins or dried cranberries – 100 g;
• Vanilla sugar – to your taste;
• Cinnamon – to your taste;
• Pinch of salt – to your taste.


1. Fry walnuts in a dry pan. Grind them into small crumbs.
2. In one bowl mix honey, melted butter, vanilla sugar, cinnamon and salt. In another mix oat flakes and nuts.
3. Mix two masses together. Stir gently so as not to spoil the structure of cereal and to preserve them intact.
4. Cover a baking tray with a parchment and put a thin layer of the resulting mass on it.
5. Bake at 150 degrees for about 30 minutes. Stir granola every 10 minutes. Ready granola is dry and has a golden color.
6. Mix hot granola with raisins or cranberries. Let it cool down completely. You should store granola in an airtight container.
